July Highlights: the start of fall billing and special reminders for incoming first-years.

Note the temporary location for our office during the summer.

The Office of Student Services front counter will temporarily be moved to Lyons Hall Room 202 due to construction this summer. Please view our Summer Hours. The renovations will not affect phone and email services within Student Services.

Undergraduate students were billed for the fall semester on June 21. Graduate, Woods and Messina Students will be billed for fall in mid-July.

Students registered for summer school should make sure summer session balances are now paid in full.

Fall semester bills for undergraduate and law students are due on August 10. Fall semester bills for graduate and Woods College students will be due on September 4. Any student or family anticipating any difficulty in meeting these deadlines should contact Student Services as early as possible and request to speak to a credit and collections specialist.

Review mandatory meal plan options.

Students on a mandatory meal plan now have the ability to choose to opt up to a premium plan or opt down to the light plan to match their dietary needs. Students have been automatically enrolled in the middle base plan. If this plan is best for you, you do not need to do anything. Those wishing to opt up or down have until September 5 to do so. The ability to select a plan is on the My Services page of the Agora Portal. More information may be found on the Dining site.

Information about the Student Wellness and Student Activity fees on your fall statement.

The Murray Center for Student Wellness Fee provides a comprehensive approach to student wellness. Details on what services the fee provides are available at /bc-web/offices/studentaffairs/sites/health-wellness.html. This fee is a mandatory fee for all undergraduate day students and is not waivable.

The Boston College Student Activity Fee funds undergraduate student organizations and their programming.  The fee is mandatory for all students and is not waivable.

Enroll in QuikPAY Payment Plan (undergraduate and Law students).

Enrollment for the QuikPAY Payment Plan (available to undergraduate and Law students only) for the 2026–2027 academic year is open. For more information, visit .

Graduating in August? Verify your diploma name and mailing address.

The deadline for August 2026 graduates to verify their diploma name and mailing address in the Agora Portal is Friday, August 14.

Incoming graduate or law student?

Apply for financial aid (continuing graduate and law students).

If you have not done so already, you need to apply for federal financial aid each year. Visit our website  for a link to the FASFA and required forms for Graduate and Law financial aid.

Attention Graduate Students: If you have not received a financial aid award yet, check on the status of your application ²¹²Ô»åÌýany missing financial aid documents at www.bc.edu/finaidapp. Upload any missing documents to the financial aid site as per instructions on our website at .

Review updates to federal student aid.

Congress passed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) in July 2025, which introduced several changes to federal student aid beginning July 1, 2026.  Please review updates here.

Taking a course at another institution this summer? Remember to complete the Course Approval Form and request an official transcript sent to the Office of Student Services.

Waive medical insurance (if applicable).

Waivers must be completed every year. To waive medical insurance, go to and select "Medical Insurance Waiver." All waivers must be submitted by September 25, 2026, but we strongly recommend completing your waiver by mid-July to avoid an overlap of two insurance policies. Students who do not complete a waiver prior to the deadline will automatically be enrolled in and charged the student-only premium for the student plan. Visit for more information.

Looking for a job?

The Summer 2026 and 2026–2027 Academic Year job opportunities are available on the Student Employment Job ListingsÌý±è²¹²µ±ð. The 51³ÉÈ˶¯Âþ Career Center offers plenty of resources as well as tips on writing great resumesÌý²¹²Ô»å cover letters when applying for student jobs. For students who have secured an on-campus job for the first time, please be sure to bring forms of identification (such as but not limited to, a valid/unexpired U.S. Passport, or a combination of a valid driver's license or Eagle ID card ²¹²Ô»åÌýSocial Security card or birth certificate) in original formats. No pictures or photocopies will be accepted. A full list of acceptable documents for Form I-9 completion can be found on the . International F-1 students will need to bring in their valid Foreign Passport along with their Forms I-94 ²¹²Ô»åÌýI-20 and Employment Authorization Letter from the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS).

Purchase a MBTA pass for the fall semester.

Students may begin purchasing MBTA passes. The deadline to purchase fall semester MBTA passes at a discount is August 10. Visit the MBTA Passes and Parking Permits page for more information.

Look out for e-mail on how to sign Promissory Notes (students awarded Nursing Loans).

During July, students awarded Nursing Loans will be notified via e-mail regarding when and how to sign their Promissory Notes at Heartland ECSI.

Update your Social Security Number (U.S. citizens only).

All U.S. citizens should update their Social Security Number in the . Your Social Security Number is necessary for federal reporting purposes related to your 1098T, Financial Aid, and Enrollment reporting requirements. You will be prompted to update your Social Security Number in the Agora Portal when required.

Sign a Direct Loan Master Promissory Note (if applicable).

Complete Title IV Authorization (if applicable).

Federal regulations require that Title IV funds credited to your student account be applied only to cover allowable charges, unless Boston College obtains authorization to apply these funds to all other charges on your student account. You may submit your authorization electronically at www.bc.edu/myservices. For more information, visit the BillingÌý±è²¹²µ±ð.

Complete Direct Loan Entrance Counseling (if applicable).

Enroll in direct deposit for student account refunds (if applicable).

We recommend that all students use direct deposit when requesting refunds. Refunds processed via direct deposit are faster and do not require pickup. Visit the Billing page for instructions and more information.
